Thanks so much for sharing clear insights on replacement theology. There's a saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water," and it's one that comes to mind whenever I think about the approach of Replacement Theology. How can anyone possibly deny God's promises to Israel. And as He said 'all of Israel will be saved', so praise God! Thank you for the reminder as well that the Christian believe is grafted into the 'Vine' - God's redemptive power in Jesus Christ the Messiah, by faith. Also it is interesting to note that in Revelation Chapter 11, we read of two olive trees, and two candlesticks who 'stand before the Great God of all the earth', and who will have a significant end time prophetic power. In Revelation 3 we learn that the 'candlestick' is representative of Christian 'churches', and in this case it seems clear that the 'olive tree' is representative of a Spirit empowered endtime Jewish prophetic force in the last days. Praise God for those in Christendom today who know that when God says there is no longer 'Jew nor Greek, slave nor free' He is speaking of powerful unity in the Holy Spirit in this great end time dispensation of grace in which we live. Thanks again for an excellent message from Sun and Shield.

I live in Bloomington, Minnesota and I am BURIED right now in that warm, cozy global warming white stuff. Interesting…they talk about how awful it is that glaciers are melting. Tell that to us Minnesotans, whose 10,000 lakes are a result of glacial melting. At one time, most of Minnesota was covered in a HUGE glacier. I’m glad it melted so I can live here. That is called “climate change” and it has been going on since the beginning of time. Since they didn’t have all the coal burning, the gas-guzzling SUV’s, the overpopulation of the earth back then, I have a suspicion that Global Warming is not caused by us!! Just a guess, folks. You have to be completely insane to believe that humans have even a microscopic affect on the earth’s climate!!

Yeah, but I think the facts show that Trelane probably wasn't a Q. The cliche may be true, but it doesn't prove that sufficiently advanced beings must be using technology, and not their own abilities.

Filed under: Car Buying, Lexus, Toyota According to the experts-of-such-things at Kelley Blue Book, the average vehicle will only retain about 35 percent of its original value after the initial five-year ownership period, often making depreciation the greatest expense incurred by drivers over that time period. That's a hefty chunk of change to be sure, so a vehicle's anticipated resale value should be of prime concern when shopping for your next car or truck. Since 2003, KBB has published its Best Resale Value Awards, which seek to inform consumers of projected resale value for any particular model after five years and 75,000 miles worth of service. Considering its historic reputation for quality, it comes as little surprise that Toyota takes home the trophy as the brand with the best projected resale value and that its subsidiary Lexus grabs the award in the luxury category. We have to wonder, though, how the company's many current woes might damage its perceived value down the line....

Yeah, I kinda figured I would be doing a lot of asking around, but I thought I might be able to get a little heads up before heading out so I can plan some things. I would do the PCT but I'm not a very experienced hiker. Checking out San Diego and Tijuana would be cool but after San Fran and L.A. I'll have to see how I'm doing on funds.
